I hope everybody had a great holiday! I had a blast. I still have one more round of gifts to give with friends and then Epiphany on Jan.6th. ^^ It's been a while since my last journal (because I'm terrible at this internet thing anymore. XD).
It's been a steadily busy year for me over at my Etsy shop KaztielKrafts. Not as many new minimalist pieces lately, but don't fret. More are in the works. I'm also planning to open a new Etsy shop which will sell some "vintage" mini houses. My mom used to collect them and they're still in great condition. I'll update when that shop opens. I'm also planning to dive into the world of personalization. Which doesn't sound nearly as daunting as it is. XD Hopefully I won't get overwhelmed!
On a non-craft side I've returned to the world of Jrock/Visual Kei. I mean I never entirely left it. I never stopped listening to my CDs. But I didn't keep up with any new music the bands were working on or listened to new music. So I learned most of the bands I used to listen to have disbanded. It happens, but still... I miss these bands! Mucc and Dir en grey are still going strong. Yay. Also Luna Sea reunited. Unexpected, but also awesome. I haven't heard much of the newer bands because Pandora sucks like that. And since I don't know who I'm looking for YouTube is only so helpful. XD And of course I now want all things Jrock/Visual Kei again. So expensive.... But worth it. ^^
In that same vein, years and years ago (10ish in fact), I did an RP with a once friend called MidnighTokyo. It was about a fictional record label and followed a few bands signed and their drama filled lives. XD My return to Jrock has awoken all my old muses. I already dove headfirst into a relaunch, reworking backgrounds, filling in characters where needed. There's still a lot of work to be done, but I'm actually really happy with how things are turning out. I even made icons. So if all of a sudden you see a lot of things dealing with MidnighTokyo you know why. XD My boys are awake and LOUD. So some art is probably on the way too. Cause that the demanding muses do. XD
